How do I join as a Substantive Employee?

If you’re looking to join as a substantive employee, please register via the Patchwork App and select ‘Internal Candidate’ when prompted.

How do I join the bank if I'm currently working at CTM via agency?

If you are currently working at the Trust through an agency and would like to move on to the bank, please fill in the agency consent form here. Once submitted, we will issue notice to your agency, and a member of the team will contact you to begin your transition to the bank.

How do I join the Bank as an external candidate?

If you do not currently work for the Trust and would like to apply to one of our current CTM Bank vacancies, please click here. If there are no suitable roles available at this time, please send your most up-to-date CV to ctmdrsbank@hcrg.uk.com, and we will keep your details on file for future opportunities.

How do I join if I have left my Substantive role but want to stay on bank?

If you are planning to leave, or have recently left, your substantive position and would like to remain on the Bank, you can start your application by completing the Trust Leaver form available here.

Booking or Cancelling Shifts

How do I apply for a shift?

Once you have completed your registration using one of the links above, you can apply for available shifts through the Patchwork app. Simply log in to the app to view and apply for shifts that match your availability.

How do I cancel a shift?

If you need to cancel a shift with the CTM Medical Staff Bank, please ensure you give sufficient notice, ideally at least 3 days in advance. To cancel a shift, please provide all relevant shift details by emailing ctmdrsbank@hcrg.uk.com

My shift is still showing as unapproved – what should I do?

If your shift has not yet been approved, please speak with the manager or department responsible for authorising your hours and request that they complete the approval process. Where applicable, make sure any required timesheet has been completed, signed, and submitted to the relevant ward or department.
